A Guaranteed Welcome!
In the late 19th century Albany Terrace was built
with commanding views over St Ives and Carbis Bay.
Standing in its own grounds at the very top of
Albany Terrace is the Chy-an-Albany Hotel. Once three spacious Edwardian houses,
it is now an elegant 37 room hotel. Recently completely refurbished, the Chy-an-Albany
hotel now recaptures the style of the Edwardian era with tasteful and
comfortable surroundings and guaranteed warm welcome.
All bedrooms have en-suite shower or bath and
toilet facilities, and a small number of rooms have been specially designed for
single occupancy. Each bedroom has tea and coffee making facilities, TV with
satellite channels and direct dial telephones.

Bedrooms at the front of the hotel have a
spectacular view over St Ives Bay and Porthminster beach and at the rear there
are gardens leading to a large car park.
The Chy-an-Albany hotel prides itself on the
quality of its food and hospitality, with an award winning chef and family
staff.

Weddings
The hotel holds a licence to perform civil
weddings.
We have licenced 5 different areas to cater for
various sizes of ceremonies.

This enables couples to plan their most important
day, based entirely at the hotel and we are able to assist with all aspects of
the arrangements.

For a special event, the Chy-an-Albany also has
generous function room facilities in addition to its bar and restaurant areas.
The restaurant is open to non-residents and regularly holds gourmet evenings
throughout the year.
For those who like to explore, St Ives is the
centre of an area of Cornwall with a wealth of cultural and historic
attractions, including The Tate Gallery, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and many
more.
St Ives itself is still a charming sheltered port
with an active fishing fleet, and has gained an excellent reputation for the
quality of its restaurants and seafood.
There are also many galleries and specialist
shops among the maze of tiny streets.
For the more energetic, there are exhilarating
walks along the coast and horse riding is also popular along the coast or over
the local moorland.
To make a booking, or find out more about our
special breaks, including gourmet evenings, just call 01736 796759.
