Welcome
Martin & Trisha run Boathouse Antiques right in the heart of St Buryan. We try to keep a wide range of
antiques and collectable's - ranging from £1.00 to £2.000.00. Our stock is constantly changing, so it
is hard to say what we have got! We live next door in Belmont House (Bed & Breakfast) so, if we're not
open just knock at the house, we're always happy to open up the shop just to let people browse:-)
If you collect, or are looking for anything particular please ask as we usually have more in the house
waiting awaiting research and just being enjoyed for a while.
You can stay in our Bed and Breakfast as a base to view other shops and local auctions while also enjoying the local
area and attractions.

Nautical items
We sell ships lamps (all working), pulley
blocks, glass and cork floats among many
other nautical items. We also sell ships' clocks and scientific instruments like
sextants & compasses. We have many
pond yachts & model boats which can have glass cases made - if required.
Jewellery/objet d'art
We keep a wide range of costume jewellery in stock, mainly from the 1920's to the present, but we do
also have older & designer jewellery.
We also sell compacts including Stratton and dressing table items to compliment our
jewellery.
Antique fairs
We also sell at antique fairs and on Ebay, an online auction site. Our current auctions can be viewed
at www.ebay.com where our seller's name is...
<ma.and.pa.boathouse>. We will ship internationally, with buyers paying postage and packaging at cost.
Restoration
Much of our furniture sold in the shop has been through our workshop to give it some T.L.C. We are careful not to over restore so items keep their age and charm. We sell 19th and early 20th century furniture and 18th century when we can get it. Deliveries in Devon,
Cornwall and short distances from the M4/M5 can be made.
