The Garrack is justly proud of its widespread reputation for freshly-prepared and, whenever available, locally-produced food, with many vegetables and herbs from its own garden when in season. The menus have been prepared with both vegetarians and carnivores in mind. Seafood of enviable quality and freshness is sourced from the major fishing port and market at Newlyn, as well as smaller quantities of seafood, such as lobsters, which are landed at St Ives - an opportunity not to be missed. The Garrack has its own holding tank for the storage of fresh locally caught lobsters.
